Coelme Egic

The company Coelme Egic founded in 2001 through the merger of the two companies: the Italian Coelme and French Egic. By the time of the merger, which occurred as part of the strategy to provide the highest quality products and services, both companies had considerable experience in the design, manufacture and supply disconnectors for voltage classes 36-800 kV, and were the main suppliers of the largest Federal generating companies in Italy and France (Enel S p A and EDF). Production areas are located near Venice, in the Santa Maria di Sala, and in Saint-Geniez, near Lyon.

Today Coelme Egic — recognized manufacturer disconnector techniques, making delivery more than 100 countries.

All produced disconnectors can work in harsh environments: the points of the far North and in the deserts at temperatures from −50 to +50 °C, as well as the most seismically dangerous areas of the planet. The use of corrosion-resistant materials and coatings in the manufacture of all components ensures high reliability for many years. The mechanical endurance exceed the requirements of IEC standard.
