Alstom Grid
A subsidiary of a large french group Alstom, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of power equipment of high and ultra-high voltage. Founded in 1878, the headquarters is located in downtown Paris — La Défense.
Since 1972 Alstom Grid is engaged in production of generator circuit breakers for power plants up to 1500 MW. More than 2400 generator circuit breakers installed worldwide on nuclear, hydro, thermal power plants, pumped storage power stations mixed type.
Breakers Alstom Grid are tested in first class private laboratories and laboratories of members of the STL *(test for short circuit) such as KEMA, CERDA, CESI, EDF, they also meet the latest standards of ANSI and IEC. In addition, there may be a separate additional tests made special reports to meet specific customer requirements. The main criteria of the input control based on the detailed analysis of the results of standard and pre-tests.
At present, our company has implemented jointly with Alstom Grid project delivery generator circuit breakers FKGA2 for the cascade of Toktogul HPP in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
*STL (Short-Circuit Testing Liaison) is an international Association dedicated to testing of electrical equipment by short circuit currents and uniting: KEMA — largest Dutch testing center, CESI — Italian test center, and PEHLA, ESEF, SATS, STLNA, ASTA — national Association of testing centers in Germany, France, Scandinavia, North America and the UK respectively. The composition of these associations include almost all major testing centers are the leading manufacturer of high voltage products.
