1. General characteristics:
2. Assignment:
Three-phase dry-type transformers with air-barrier insulation aramid paper type "Nomex" switching with non-excitation regulating. Designed to convert electrical energy into electric three-phase alternating current with frequency of 50 Hz. Installed in industrial premises and public buildings, which have high requirements in terms of fire safety, explosion-proof, ecological purity.
Transformers are available in the version with degree of protection IP00 (without casing — type TSN) or R (bonnet — type TSNZ). This type transformers do not support combustion and does not emit toxic smoke or dangerous particles. Reduces losses associated with electricity transmission. Transformers can be placed near sources of their load. The voltage regulation of ±5% in steps of 2.5% non-excitation regulating power by moving jumpers.
3. Conditions:
4. Working resource:
5. Construction of transformers:
The main insulating material, paper "Nomex", withstands temperatures 220ºС, thus the design of the transformer has a substantial safety margin. Transformers can be used with a temperature of 80°C and load is around 133% of nominal. This will lead to lower costs than the costs associated with installation of an additional transformer.
"Nomex" is a synthetic aromatic polyamide, providing a high level of electrical, chemical and mechanical protection. It helps to increase the service life of the transformer, reducing the number of premature failures, repairs and protects with increasing electrostatic voltage.
The magnetic core is made of high quality electrical steel. Special cutting line of the Italian firm "SOENEN" and methods of blending "Step-Lap", Assembly, applying bandages, tie rods and special adhesives provide low no-load losses and noise. For corrosion protection applied silicon paint.
LV winding made of copper or aluminum wires with insulation "Nomex" or of copper or aluminum foil. As the interlayer insulation paper is used "Nomex".
HV windings are made as a coil, and the layer of wires with insulating paper "Nomex".
Transformers with a casing at the request of the customer are manufactured in the following versions:
- with the ability to connect power cables through the bottom shell;
- with tire conclusions HV and LV through the cover and side panel of the transformer.
Protective shell provides access to the transformer via a removable panel on the long side of the transformer. On request of the consumer, the factory can design and manufacture transformers with different parameters of any design. Transformers can be used on objects underground.
1. Main advantages:
Dry-type transformers insulated with Nomex have a more compact size than oil-immersed transformers or transformers filled epoxy compound. They are suitable for repair, and if necessary, the repair of dry transformers insulated with "Nomex" is much shorter than that of the transformer with liquid dielectric. Another distinct advantage of this product is its water — resistance and harmless to the environment.
Compared with oil-immersed transformers or transformers filled epoxy compound there are the following advantages:
- Fire and explosion safety;
- Suitable for repair
- Idling losses and short circuit reduced by 10%;
- Do not contain harmful substances and recycling are easily recyclable;
- Excellent dielectric pulse characteristics help to improve strength and increase their reliability;
- Test norms to the applied voltage and pulse surge increased by 25%;
- Do not contain by-products of decomposition at the operating temperatures of the transformers;
- Slight ageing of insulation at elevated temperatures can withstand normal and emergency loads over a wider range;
- Work in conditions of emergency peak load does not lead to the fragility of the dielectric isolation;
- Cheaper to manufacture.
